Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Review

The Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED Infinity display, which we already know from the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, which means it’s rounded off at the side margins and offers so much space for photos, videos and work on the go.

The dimensions are similar to those of Note 7 – it measures 162.5 x 74.8 x 8.6 mm and weighs 195 grams. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is also Samsung’s first smartphone to support HDR content on Netflix. In addition to Samsung’s new Phablet are currently only three other premium phones on the official list.

Processor and Memory

The 6 GB of RAM complies with current flagship ships and is supported by 64 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 256 GB. Four of the eight cores clock at 2.3 GHz, the other four at 1.7 GHz, so that gets the necessary power for streaming, games, and multitasking.

Battery

A 3,300 mAh battery provides long-lasting endurance that the smartphone can use and supports inductive fast charging technology. Among other things, the smartphone is secured by biometric blocking modes such as the iris scanner, a fingerprint scanner and face recognition.

Samsung S Pen

With the powerful built-in S Pen, take notes without unlocking your screen,
handwrite messages and make GIFs.2 Designed to write and feel more like a
real pen, it gives you precise control over everything on your phone.

The S Pen on Samsung Note S8 has been significantly improved compared to its predecessor with a tip that is much finer and more sensitive to pressure and new ways to draw and communicate.

Dual Camera

The Galaxy Note 8 is Samsung’s first smartphone with a dual camera. The main camera resolves with 12 megapixels and is supported by an optical image stabilizer. Here work a wide-angle and a telephoto lens with 12 megapixels hand in hand and are intended for crystal clear shots and good portraits. The front camera resolves with eight megapixels and works with an f / 1.7 aperture.

Price and Release

The Galaxy Note 8 costs 900 U.S. Dollars for the release and comes in the colors Midnight Black and Maple Gold on the market. The predecessor model Note 7 had cost to release 849 U.S.Dollars. Already with the Galaxy S8 as well as the S8 Plus Samsung had raised the prices compared to the predecessors. From mid-September 2017, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be available in the United States.
