Google Pixel 2 XL: Best Display 18: 9 format and 5.6 inches
Google has yet to make any sort of official announcement about its next generation Pixel smartphone, but a recent GFXBench listing for a device called the Pixel XL2 suggests one is on the horizon.
The listing also alludes to the fact that Google Pixel 2 XL could take design cues from the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 and feature an 18:9, or 2:1, display – one of the best in the industry. The listing also mentions a 5.6-inch screen with a 2560 x 1312 resolution, making it smaller than both the LG G6 and Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphones, which have 5.7- and 5.8-inch screens respectively, but still give it an 18:9 aspect ratio.
The Google Pixel 2 XL will have 4 GB of RAM available, and the internal memory space is 128 GB. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 835, which clocks up to 2.4 GHz.
According to the listing, the main camera will be of 12 MP resolves, 8 MP selfies are possible with a front camera. As the operating system is obviously Android 7.1.1 installed. It is, however, quite possible that on the Google Pixel 2 XL to the market is already running Android O.
Whether these specs correspond to reality, we probably learn in October 2017. According to one source, the Google Pixel 2 XL will apparently carry a loftier price tag than its predecessors. The old one started at $649 for the XL version, so it was already expensive.
